Open-Xchange releases OX Mail for OX App Suite

Open-Xchange is pleased to announce the release of OX Mail v2.6.4 for iOS and OX Mail v2.6.3 for Android.

OX Mail is a native mobile app built specifically for smartphone and tablet users who already have a valid OX App Suite account. The OX Mail app, for iOS and Android, provides fast and robust email access on both smartphones and tablets. It is designed to work seamlessly with OX App Suite.

What's new in OX Mail v2.6.4 for iOS:
    • For UI branding that does not use the auto discovery mechanism on the login page, the field for entering the username or email address in the Login Screen now defaults to show a software keyboard optimized for entering email addresses.
    • Resolved an issue where the app may crash after sending a mail using the Compose Screen or returning to the List View after viewing a mail using the Detail Screen
    • Resolved an issue where mails were not deleted properly
    • Resolved an issue where a never-ending activity indicator would be displayed when performing a pull-to-refresh action in the Search Screen. The search results are now refreshed as expected

What's new in OX Mail v2.6.3 for Android:
    • Now showing "this email has no content" when an email has no content
    • Fixed a bug when performing a relogin after a redirected login
    • The navigation panel does not show an error icon in the background anymore, when a folder is not properly initialized.
    • Fixed a crash when opening the settings

Users will be able to download the respective clients for their devices from the corresponding app store free of charge.

    Shipped Packages and Version:
    • OX Mail v2.6.4 for iOS
    • OX Mail v2.6.3 for Android
