    POP3 Support

    The topics says it all, Open-Xchange currently supports a lot of IMAP servers and some tightly integrated custom solutions for E-Mail storage backends. But there are many E-Mail providers out there, offering only POP3 access to a mailbox at least for Freemail accounts.

    What do you think about it? What would you expect from such a feature?

    Also ich finde es ein sehr wichtiges Feature also Daumen hoch!

          Sadly thats not possible since POP3 does offer about 5% of the features OX can do with E-Mail. We're synchronizing the POP3 mailbox to an IMAP folder hierarchy at the primary mail account so we can offer a full set of features. Plus, most freemail POP3 accounts can only be accessed every x minutes which make it useless for proper online access.
