  • Open Xchange on VMWare Server

    Hi,

I'd like to run Open Xchange on VMWare Server, but

    1. my VM doesnt recieve Mails, but i can send them.
    2. I like to Login over the Internet. I need something to route all requests concerning open xchange to the vm. Like IP Tables.

    Some Details:
VM is running on NAT Mode
vmcfg port is forwarding standart mail ports.

    Hi kzuuu,

Is the ipaddress of your vm in the DNS server and does it have the MX flag?
Else you can only grab emails from a providers email server.

    2. I like to Login over the Internet. I need something to route all requests concerning open xchange to the vm. Like IP Tables.
Then you have to set it in your firewall (or router or reverseproxy or.....) as a special route for a service (port based on firewall and router) or a webpage (reverseproxy)

      some ports were missing
      now it works fine.

I also forwarded port 81 of the host to port 80 on the VM to get access over internet (i have iis running)

Does anyone know how i can configure the smtp server ?
      imap works fine for me
