  • Errors after install

    Hello,

I have the following two errors after install the Community Edition on Ubuntu 8.

When trying to send an email I get:

"Wrong or missing data to access server" (fixed - saslauth issue)

then when I try to configure the filters [Configuration|E-Mail|Filters] I get:

    "Invalid sieve credentials (MAIL_FILTER-0002, #############-###)"
by fixing the data to access issue, I no longer get the sieve error listed above, I do get a new error:

"Error Code: Error in low level connection to sieve server"
Can any one provide assistance with resolving these issues? I have looked everywhere and found very little.

    Regards,
    Rick

    Hi Rick,

this configuration issue has been disclosed many times at the forums:
The package open-xchange-mailfilter provides a service to configure SIEVE based mail filter scripts on a IMAP Server. It can be configured at /opt/open-xchange/etc/groupware/mailfilter.properties. If your IMAP Server does not support those mail filtering rules, you can uninstall the package.

    hope that helps

I searched the forums and couldn't find anything, maybe my search was poor. Thank you for this reply, it does help.
