  • suddenly login error 404 Not Found

    Hi,

i`m using opensuse 11.1 with the snapshot of open-xchange.

After shutting down the system and assining more memory to the virtual machine, yes i have it running in xen, i could not login anymore.

I`m not familiar with java so i`m not sure where the problem is.
But i checked the logs and nothing is logged when i want to login, whatever username i use i always get the same error 404 not found.

The only error i found is in apache2 > [Tue Jan 13 17:14:35 2009] [error] [client 192.168.1.6] File does not exist: /srv/www/htdocs/ox6/3rdparty/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/images, referer: http://192.168.1.4/ox6/ox.html

    Hopefully someone can help me.

    Robert

Ok i found the problem, it seems that the application could not bind to port 8009, so i started first open-xchange and then tomcat and the problem is solved.

So i need to find why and where tomcat is using this port.

        Thanks anyway Robert

          Hi Robert

8009 is the default port for AJP requests, tomcat and OX use AJP so there is a potential conflict. You could change that port for tomcat or for OX. Using tomcat is not required for OX, just in case you've installed it solely for open-xchange.

          Greetings
