    hello every1,

i would like to use the same database für openxchange and postfix. but i can't find the username password in the openexchange-database.
it would also be helpfull if anyone could tell me how the password is encrypted.

the idea ist that postfix and ox uses the same database. so if a user changes his password in ox, postfix wouldn't block that user until he changed the postfix-password too, since postfix ist reading out of the same database.

this feature would make ox a lot more comfortable.
right now my postfix is setup to use the database from egroupware. which works fine. i want to replace egroupware with openxchange now.

    thanks in advance

You could always put the user information into e.g. LDAP and use it to authenticate Postfix, Cyrus, and of course OX ...

since i already have an mysql-server running, which holds a database with all users, i would like to keep on using mysql.

besides i don't have any expirence with ldap. a change to ldap would cost my alot of work and learning.
