  • Not enough space in /boot in process update

    Dear All.

    I had the problem in Update Version of OX-AE as :

    **** Starting univention-updater with parameter=['/usr/sbin/univention-updater', 'net', '--check']
    --->DBG:update_available(mode=net, cdrom_mount_point=/cdrom, reboot=None, internal=0, iso=None)
    Nextupdate: [2.2-3]
    **** Starting univention-updater with parameter=['/usr/sbin/univention-updater', 'net', '--updateto', '2.2-3']
    Version=2.2
    Patchlevel=2
    using tempdir = /tmp/tmp78BpDQ
    starting net mode
    --->DBG:update_available(mode=net, cdrom_mount_point=/cdrom, reboot=None, internal=1, iso=None)
    Nextupdate: [2.2-3]
    Update to = 2.2-3
    Call the preup.sh file with the path: /tmp/tmp78BpDQ
    Execute /tmp/tmp78BpDQ/preup.sh
    Running preup.sh script
    Space on /var/cache/apt/archives: OK
    ERROR: Not enough space in /boot, need at least 20 MB.
    This may interrupt the update and result in an inconsistent system!
    If neccessary you can skip this check by setting the value of the
    baseconfig variable update22/checkfilesystems to "no".
    But be aware that this is not recommended!

    I hope receive to help.

        Hi,

        current releases should delete legacy kernels from that directory before installing a new one. If your /boot is already full, you may uninstall a unnecessary kernel using the package manager.

        Greetings
