  • "install mysql-server open-xchange-meta-singleserver" doesn't work

    Hi,

I have installed xubuntu 9.10 and followed the installation guide for xubuntu 8.04.
Everything worked fine till the command:

    $ sudo aptitude install mysql-server open-xchange-meta-singleserver

After the commadn the print out of the console was:

    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
    Reading extended state information
    Initialising package states... Done
Couldn't find any package whose name or description matched "open-xchange-meta-singleserver"

No packages will be installed, upgraded, or removed.
0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

Where did I make the mistake? What do I have to do for the correct installation?

    Greetings
    Simon

    Hi Simon,

seems there are no such meta packages for some distributions. Gonna check this with our package guru :-)
You might check older revisions of the wiki page for a full list of packages.

    Stay tuned!

As written in the installation guides:

      Starting with the 6.16 release...

      We're still at 6.14.

Preview versions and nightly builds of 6.16 are only available for our supported platforms yet.

As soon as 6.16 is released, the others will follow.
