Default Error running oxldapsync for the first time

I'm in the process of installing OX6 on SLES11 and am following these documents to the letter:

    http://oxpedia.org/wiki/index.php?ti...gration-SLES11

    http://oxpedia.org/index.php?title=O...ide_for_SLES11

    http://oxpedia.org/wiki/index.php?ti...LDAPSync_Guide

However, when I attempt to run oxldapsync for the first time,

    /opt/oxldapsync/sbin/oxldapsync.pl -c 1 -f /opt/oxldapsync/etc/ldapsync.conf -A oxadmin -P admin_password

    I get:

Error on bind: No password, did you mean noauth or anonymous?
    at /opt/oxldapsync/sbin/../lib/OX/LDAPConnector/ldap.pm
    line 34, <DATA> line 465.

Can anyone help? This is my ldapsync.conf :

As you can see in your config file, the error message perfectly fits reality:

    Code:
Error on bind: No password, did you mean noauth or anonymous?
    Code:
    # Password for Connecting to ldap
    ldapuserpassword =
OXpedia.org - the answer to almost all questions.

But it is not obvious to me what this password should be.

If I put a password in that file and try running oxldapsync for the first time, I get an 'Invalid Credentials' error.

Any idea what the password should be if I am doing a completely new install of OX6, following the SLES11 Integration & Installation guides to the letter?

For info, I am migrating from an OX5 server. OX support suggested that the password required may be the one I used for the mailadmin user on our OX5 server.

However, I've tried that, and many other combinations to no avail.

Can the password be reset somehow, so I can get oxldapsync to work?

I'd very much appreciate any suggestions.

    Default oxldapsync password

The passphrase needed is that of "mailadmin" in OX5
