  • sync public calendar

    Hi!

I have installed an openxchange server with funambol! Sync with thunderbird and with my nokia n900 works quit fine. My question is, is it possible to sync my clients (thunderbird) with the public calendar or the global addressbook??

    thank you
    best regards

    Hi,

this depends on the client, OX allows access to all folders through the HTTP API.

        Hi,

the HTTP API is an interface which developers can use to do all kind of stuff with Open-Xchange Server. For example creating contacts, reading all contacts from a folder and so on. It is used by the webinterface or our activesync implementation, for example.
What i wanted to say is: OX offers such capabilities, but most (all) mobile devices or synchronization solutions do not support that much features, sadly.

        Greetings
