  • Strange behavoir deleting single ocurrence of recurring event

    Hi,

I encountered a strange behavior in the Thunderbird-OXtender when I delete a single occurrence in a recurring event: In Thunderbird, If you delete a single occurrence of a recurring event that we've ever moved before, then when you synchronize you lost all singles occurrences that we've moved before. But if this single ocurrence deleted has moved before when you syncronize the behavoir is OK.

I use the latest versions of all: Thunderbird 3.1.6, Lightning 1.0b2, OXtender 1.7.5.4, in a Windows XP-ServicePack_3 system, and the latest OX version 6.18 (with the 6.16 the behavoir is the same).

It is a bug?, or it is my instalation?

    Tanks,

    Joan

    Hi,

Someone could try this procedure to check if it works correctly in your instalation:

    1) You create from the thunderbird, in a OX calendar, a recurring event daily.
    2) Forces a synchronization (because the OX does not apply the changes until it synchronizes, every X minutes)
    3) You move a single occurrence of this recurring event
    4) Forces synchronization
... you can repeat 3+4 several times to move several occurrences.
... Until this point everything is correct, you can test your OX and is OK.
    5) Remove a single occurrence, of this recurring event, that you have not moved before
    6) Forces synchronization
... AND DISAPPEAR ALL SIMPLE OCCURRENCES WHICH HAVE MOVED BEFORE

    I'm using Windows XP_sp3, OX 6.18.1, Thunderbird 3.1.6 and Lingtning 1.0b2.

    Thanks,

    Joan
