change own password?
I am using the latest VMWare image.
How can a user change his own password?
this can be done by the command line utils by the administrator. At the moment there is no user administration interface available at the community edition.
No way! A normal user has no access to the command line of the server. Besides it is much too complicated to issue an changeuser command..
Hymalia had the ability to change the password without admin interface
OX Express Edition also has this possibility, but it's not yet included at the Community Edition. Ask Renč for a timeframe, he manages products
There is no such interface. As the Community Edition is derived from the Hosting Edition and hosters usually have their own interface for user administration, there won't be such an interface for the Community Edition soon.

Can you point me to some documentation about creating such an interface?
In my opinion changing the password is not an administrative task but something every user must be able to do for himself.
yes, you are right - user should be able to change his/her own password. But as the Hosting Edition is intended to use in distributed environments where multiple Backend-Systems appear, changing the password only for groupware access is not very clever. For example, if the provider of the software also uses some kind of single-sign-on or a provisioning backend, passwords need to be changed on different places than at the groupware.
A documentation about the Commandline Interface can be found here:
or at the tools themselves (--help flag)
The RMI documentation should be included at the javadocs which ship with the sourcecode.
