Default private appointments in shared calendar not visible

    hello,

we are using shared calendar functions with ox6. user 'a' shares his calendar, user 'b' has got the rights to see, delete or create appointments. if user a creates appointments which are private, user b can not see them in thunderbird. they are only visible in the web interface. is this a configuration problem or a bug?

    we are using:

    thunderbird 3.1.9
    lightning 1.0b2
    oxtender4thunderbird 1.7.5-4
    ox6.18.2 Rev19

    Hi,

the HTTP API sends just the timeframe of this appointment since private appointment details should not be visible in shared calendars, thats by design. It's up to the client to handle this kind of information correctly.

    Greetings

    Thank you Martin,

but I don't understand your answser.

Why MsOutlook doesn't display "Private" (and just private without other information) like in Web GUI.

    Thank you for your Help.

Then this seems to be a limitation of the client or synchronization logic we have to look into. The thread started wanted to know if this is a configuration issue - it's not.

So is it a normal comportment ? open-Xchange doesn't work with private appointement on MsOutllook ?

With oxTender 2, i have a same comportment. Can you confirm ?

Have you planified this developpement in your road map ?

We have to check this for the Outlook OXtender 2. It's possible that this is not yet implemented on that client or we use another handling by intent. I already forwarded this to the OLOX2 dev team, perhaps they can have a look on Monday.
