  • Oxtender

    Hallo,

    changeuser -c 1 -A oxadmin -p ****** -u hans.mustermann --access-olox20 on

den Error: Either username or userid must be given

    Just guessing into the wild:

Your password contains whitespace(s) and is not quoted and thus, the shell interprets it as an additional arg.

    Try:

    changeuser -c 1 -A oxadmin -P "******" -u hans.mustermann --access-olox20 on

      Hi Carsten

      thanks for the quick answer.
There is no whitespace in the oxadmin password, but a special character.
If i try -p"******" and i get the error Authentication failed.
I changed the oxadmin password and i get the same error.
      Any other ideas?

      Josef

You are aware, that I used an uppercase "P", where you are using a lowercase "p", are you?

Please consult the --help output of the command.

The help show´s me an uppercase "P"
-c,--contextid <contextid> * The id of the context
          -A,--adminuser <adminuser> ? Admin username
          -P,--adminpass <adminpass> ? Admin password
          -i,--userid <userid> | Id of the user

I tried it also with an lowercase "p"

          Server response:

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit "access-olox20 on --access-usm on" auf einen anderen Weg zu aktivieren?
