  • Timedifferences between OX and Lightning

    Hello

I use Lightning 0.7 as Calendar Plugin for Thunderbird

If i create an Appointment in Ox at 8:00 PM its also in Lightning 8:00 PM

If I create an Appointment in Lightning at 8:00 PM its changed to 9:00 PM after Replication with OX and also 9:00 PM in OX

TimeZone is in OX and Lightning Germany/Berlin.

    Any resolutions ..

      Hello

      I create a Appointment in Thunderbirs from 13 to 14 o`Clock
In webdav.ical from the Server it looks okay .
      BEGIN:VCALENDAR
      VERSION:2.0
      PRODID:OPEN-XCHANGE
      BEGIN:VEVENT
      CLASS:PUBLIC
      CREATED:20071203T121720Z
      DTSTART:20071204T130000Z
      LAST-MODIFIED:20071203T121720Z
      ORGANIZER:mailto:m.wille@wilhelmshilfe.com
      DTSTAMP:20071203T122001Z
      SUMMARY:test
      TRANSP:OPAQUE
      UID:1@localhost
      DTEND:20071204T140000Z
      END:VEVENT
      END:VCALENDAR

But in OX Hyperin Calendar it is from 14 to 15 o´Clock

Timezone is always Europe / Berlin

      Any Idea ?

Make sure that both systems are either set to UTC or Localtime.

        regards, Jens

Z stands for Zulu, also UTC. Why does your Thunderbird think that you're in UTC?

            I´m confused
My Computer is win 2000 with Timezone GMt+1 ( Berlin)
In Thunderbird/Lightning the setting is als Europe/Berlin

In OX the Usersetting is also Europe / Berlin ..

              Hi all,

with the upcoming version of OX6 (>6600) we've fixed many ical related bugs, you're very welcome to report feedback on this feature. This version of OX will be released very soon now, i just want to inform you that we take this issue serious and are eager to provide proper 3rd party calendar integration with Sunbird or other clients.

              Greetings

                    Hi,

this seems not to be a bug, but you're missing a ical parser - did you install the open-xchange-data-conversion-ical4j package to add this module/service to the OX server?

                    Greetings

                      that it was :-)
the checkbox in the repository was not enabled.

                      now it works!

                      thank for the quick answer.
