While I've successfully set up and log in to OX Business Email on my Windows 7 PC and also on my Galaxy Nexus (Android 4.0.4), I'm have trouble getting an application to spoof my OX Business Email account. I set up this capability with the following information...
Username: emailname@werhealthychocolate.net
Password: my current password
Manually configured SMTP:
Encryption Type: SSL
Host: ox.myappservice.com
Port: 465
I receive the following message when I try to send a test email...
"Error sending test email: Connection could not be established with host ox.myappservice.com [Connection timed out #110]"
I've also tried different HOSTS as follows...
My OX Business Email provider is MyDomain.com and I should mention I've also tried the following other HOST names...
- mail12.mydomainwebhost.com
- mail12.werhealthychocolate.net
- smtp.werhealthychocolate.net
These HOSTS generate a second error message...
"Error sending test email: Connection could not be established with host mail12.werhealthychocolate.net [php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known #0]"
I'm really at a loss as to how to get this to work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
