    installation on debian

    Hi,

is use this guide and just get until

    /opt/open-xchange/sbin/registerserver -n oxserver -A oxadminmaster -P admin_master_password

and then there is the error

Error: Connection refused to host: 91.47.214.100; nested exception is:
    java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

What this ip? What does he want?

    Hi,

could it be that this is a vserver or anything like this? It's required to have a valid localhost interface. Maybe some issue with /etc/hosts?

    Greetings

Do you know that IP address? Maybe it's your external one. Does "ping localhost" get you 127.0.0.1 or anything else?

I meant if 91.47.214.100 is *your* servers external ip address. I'm pretty sure this one is not a randomly generated address. However, carsten hoeger should know best about whats going on there. Hopefully he drops by here.

            Greetings

I need to see the content of /etc/hosts.
              It is quite likely broken.

Some logfiles would also make things easier to debug.
As it is the admin daemon having problems, we need to look at /var/log/open-xchange/open-xchange-admin.log.0
