Enter the end date of the vacation wont display

Hi,

We had vacation bug 19386 after updating to Version : 6.20.0 Rev12 , now we can save vacation message, but enter the end date of the vacation wont display.

First day
Last day

How do we fix this .

Hi,

the date for vacation notices can only be set if the IMAP Servers SIEVE implementation supports this. IIRC only Dovceot 2.0 currently does.

I can't imagine this is true.

Dovecot 2 is not on the list of supported IMAP servers (yet, I guess).

But this feature is advertised in the Release Notes of 6.20:

Mail module improvements
* User can define the time frame for vacation notices

Hi Jens,

yes - users can configure these *if* the backend which executes the filter rule is able to do so. Before, it was not possible to set these rules even with the date extension available. That's similar to the ability to share mail folders for example - that also only works if the IMAPd supports ACL. Feel free to check for yourself which IMAPd supports RFC 5260.
