I need some advice on how to get the open-xchange-authentication-kerberos software package to function correctly. My operating system is Ubuntu Linux LTS 12.04. I am using the http://software.open-xchange.com/OX6/6.22/backend/DebianWheezy/ and http://software.open-xchange.com/OX6/6.22/frontend/DebianWheezy/ software mirrors. Open-Xchange version is 6.22.4 Rev11. My Java version is "1.7.0_25", OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.3.10) (7u25-2.3.10-1ubuntu0.12.04.2).
I know my Kerberos is functioning correctly, as I can authenticate with Apache's auth_kerb module, Dovecot with GSSAPI, and OpenLDAP with GSSAPI.
After I install the open-xchange-authentication-kerberos package, the default kerberosLogin.conf does not seem to have the correct values set for a functional example configuration. I have no luck using the default kerberosLogin.conf settings. The only luck I have is with a new configuration (see attached kerberosLogin.conf).
No matter what I try, I am getting a "Additional pre-authentication required" error message (see attached open-xchange-console.log for full debug output).
I can get open-xchange-authentication-imap to authenticate correctly with my Dovecot server, so I have narrowed this down to a misconfigured kerberosLogin.conf. Any help in debugging this Kerberos authentication problem would be appreciated.
