today I checked-out the new GUI-CVS, because I got the problems with sending mails too. When I click at "Configuration > Extras", I get this error-message in browser:
The Error.log from Apache brings this:
The requested URL /oxadmin/umin;jsessionid=<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"><html><head><title>404 Not Found</title></head><body><h1>Not Found</h1><p>The requested URL /oxadmin/umin was not found on this server.</p><hr><address>Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) mod_jk/1.2.18 Server at localhost Port 80</address></body></html> was not found on this server.

the "Extras" link is used for multiple purposes. The CVS version holds a link to the user administration frontend which is part of OX Express. This frontend is not included at the CVS yet - it's only a dead link.
