    Default Two-factor authentication

    Dear Forum,

Does OX app suite in any way support two-factor authentication like with e.g. Google Authenticator?
I have been experimenting with the Apache TOTP module and client side SSL certs but it is not that user friendly. It would be great with something built-in in OX.

    Thanks.

Currently it's roughly on the roadmap but likely only next year. This status can change anytime though.

You can have 2 factor authentication right now with the SAML support in OX (see the Wiki). Together with an IDP like OpenAM or GLUU you can even do fancy stuff like adaptive risk assessment, SMS auth, FIDO you name it.

    Hello roel,

OX is open-source based on Linux systems in open-source environment, so yes, it's supported. Anyway, hosters and OX partners still offering 2 factor auth with OTP. Also pro-ite as a partner offers the OX OTP auth solution since 2017. ;-)
