Usin https protocol between apache web server and appsuite backend

Hi everybody !!

i have instaled OX Appsuite community edition on centos 6, i want to configure the web server to communicate with backend server using ssl. i tried this configuration on proxy_http.conf config file but doesn't work.

BalancerMember https://oxhost2:8443 timeout=100 smax=0 ttl=60 retry=60 loadfactor=50 route=APP2

Can someone help me to do this ?
is there another way to secure communication between httpd server and OX backend server ?

Grizzly (OX' servlet engine) does not support SSL at this moment. Communication between Apache and OX only is supported HTTP plain on port 8009. Security inbetween has to be given by other operational means.

Can you tell me how can i do this otherways ?
ssh tunal for example

If you need this I would check encrypted VPN options. SSH tunnel would be possible in theory. Not sure if that is the best choice though.

I've just noticed that this might be supported with the next version (7.8.2) later this year but no guarantee.
