Questions befure installing

Hello everybody,

Just some questions... I'd like to install a groupware solution for a small non-profit organization...

We need to use

- emails
- shared schedulles
- contacts list
- shared tasks


For to do it, I have the idea to use OX Community edition.

But I'm a little confused... I'm not sure of capability... With Community edition, is it possible to synchronise various client as MS-Outlook, thunderbird, evolution and to synchronise with mobile device as iphone ?

Could you confirm that?

Hi,

the community edition is technical identical to commercial solutions. Connectors for Outlook, MacOS or the iPhone are available with a commercial license only. Those connectors implement proprietary protocols such as Microsoft ActiveSync, so we cannot opensource it. Such addons also require a commercial version of the Open-Xchange Server itself since we need a well known platform to fulfill the support commitment for such addons.

Synchronization with Evolution or Thunderbird is possible without any addon.
