Gmail & Pop3

I tried to setup Open Xchange to import all of my Gmails from various accounts using POP3, it failed. When I try using IMAP it works fine but when I go to POP3 it always fails at the connection. Has anyone had any luck with Gmail and POP3?

I enabled POP3 and followed instructions on how to setup POP3 with gmail.
