User notifications for maintenance

Hi everyone,


I remember there was a module available for OX versions prior to 6.0 that allowed OX admins to post a notification and have it displayed on the webmail startup page. It was mainly used for maintenance reasons or site-wide communications.

Is there a way to implement such a mecanism on OX 6.20.1-Rev8 (or, more generally, on v6) ?

You can write a GUI plugin. The message can probably be stored in the same configuration file as used in the tutorial.
