RSS via UWA?

I would like to have "news" or "notifications" on portal. So I need a plugin like RSS or some notificator etc. I would like to have a short message with link so RSS seems to be ideal.

So how to get RSS widget for portal? I think maybe via UWA. Are there some available RSS widgets or I must develop it?

I'm not sure what you mean. If you are talking about App Suite there is an RSS-Widget which you can add multiple times with different targets to your portal by default. (Probably needs explicit installation of one or two packages.)

Thanks Wolfgang, you are right. How about a widget witk "links" only. Is it possible to create such widget containing predefined links? Answer = Yes. But how?
