OK. But why does the checkbox exist only on private calendars. When viewing the shared calendar of another user, it would be nice to have this checkbox too, seeing all appointments of this user you have permissions to do.
Example:
UserA makes an appointment in the public calendar "vacation". UserA ist owner of this appointment, everyone has permission to read.
You have permission to view the private calendar of UserA, but you don't see the appointment of UserA in "vacation", because there is no checkbox "view all", even if you have permission to do.

If UserA makes an appointment to a public calendar, it is visible in the public and the private/shared(all users) calendar.
When the checkbox at the bottom of the private calendar view is checked, appointments from all folders are displayed. Clicking on that checkbox does not move or copy any appointments. Each appointment is still contained in only one folder.

appointments in public calendar not visible in shared calendar
Hi,
we meet the following problem in OXCE in Debian Etch:
GUI Version: 6.4.2-0
Server Version: 6.4.1-0
If UserA makes an appointment to a public calendar, it is visible in the public and the private/shared(all users) calendar. UserB does also see the entry in the public calendar, but not in the shared calendar of UserB.
When UserB checks the availability of UserA however, the appointment is visible.
Any informations why?
Regards
