Hyperion and Active Directory

Hello All,

Have you tried to synchronise Hyperion with Active directory ?
I want that: when an user change his password in active directory 2000 ou 2003, the password change in hyperion also

any experience with that

Hi,

since Hyperion uses MySQL for user authentication this would require a synchronization on database level - i guess there are already some handy how-to manuals on the internet how to do this. Note that the user passwords are stored as unix crypt at the database by default.

Another approach would be using a automated script which triggers password change via the open-xchange command line tools (changeuser).
