For those who wonder if they did anything wrong during installation: This admin GUI does not support the commercial features like automated updates, the OX account registration, license management and fetchmail configuration.

    René
    Thanks for this info René.
I can full agree with the OX account registration and license management.
But why ist the fetchmail configuration not supported ?
It is more or less a feature like all other in OX for me.
Updates and Support is really ok - you have normaly pay for it.

Then i have to find a workaround for fetchmail...

    Thanks & Greez

Ok - thanks for your answer!
So you mean that i should wait until this is done in the public cvs ?
Is no problem, i just wanted to test it and maybe use directly if it works.
I try to find a workaround so long.

    Hi,

i guess this occurs because the mandatory classes for the fetchmail plugin are not (yet?) synchronized to the public CVS. I don't know if an when this will happen, but fetchmailrc is a very simple format. Entering fetchmail data may only be done once, for me it is no big disadvantage but it is not a nice error, for sure.

    Greetings.

Does the admin_gui complete work this time?
I get an Error on using Fetchmal:
    Code:
Error: 405 - HTTP method PUT is not supported by this URL
I want to fetch mails from external Mailaccount via IMAP.

    Here my settings:
    I selected my local domain
    a local user
    server: mail.myexterndomain.tld
    protocol: imap
    remoter user: myuser@myexterndomain.tld
    password: mysecretpw
    Keep on server: yes

And when i press SAVE i get the Error.

As of today the Open-Xchange Express Edition Administration GUI is available at the Public CVS Server. The installation manual has already been updated.

    Thanks for patience.

    Hi,

the Open-Xchange Community Edition is missing some servlets that make the Express Edition's Admin GUI work. Without the underlying servlets the Admin-GUI shipped with OX Express Edition is quiet useless.

    Regards,
    Joerg

Is it possible to evaluate the admin GUI from the Express Edition by copying the relevant parts to a standard community installation?

    Thanks.

In the beginning we had limited the number of testers so we chose carefully. Then we noticed that there were no unknown big issues with the beta and we removed the limitation and approved everybody who submitted real data (or data that looked like real data).
