Openfire/Asterisk integration

As I know it is currently on now high priority.

I have a similar problem at work. I would do it (see bug 6554), but my boss leave me currently no time to do it.
No further comment on this. And in private time, I have other things to do ...

What do you think about integrating Openfire, Asterisk and OX Hyperion?

I think, this would be an amazing "Hack"

This was possible in OX 0.8.x, then I was so dissapointed when I realize it's so difficult/impossible in OX6. I really like the look of OX6, but I would like to authenticate my users against a ldap server, for me its so much easier to integrate other projects.

Anybody knows when LDAP would be aviable in OX6
