Can I get permission to edit Polish translation?

The polish translation is maintained by our-self and will be available for all in the next release (6.18).

Saddly, I'm affraid there is a problem with polish translation packages. When I try downloading and installing (both apt-get and dpkg) ...-lang-pl-PL and ...-gui-lang-pl-PL nothing happens...

Can you please help solve the problem?

Could you please explain what packages exactly you're trying to install (OS version, package version, ...)
