    OXtenders Mobile Web

    Ein Hallo in die große Runde,

    bei mir werden unter dem iPhone nur die Kontakte und Aufgaben angezeigt, beim Kalender bleibt die Seite weiß.

    Folgendes System verwende ich:

    openSUSE 11.1 32 Bit mit OX Community Version : 6.16.0 Rev4

    Hi t-u-x,

    please check if the package "php5-bcmath" is installed on your system. I think this is the missing package to use the Mobile Web OXtender Calendar.

      Eine kleine Frage.... Hab auch auf meinen neuen Server die OX Community Version installiert bekommen...
      Wie kann ich jetzt emails, Kalender, Kontakte etc mit meinem iPhone synchen????
      Wie richte ich mein Iphone dafür ein?

        Du kannst mit dem Community OX nicht direkt mit dem iPhone syncen. Entweder du lädts dir den Mobile Web OXtender herunter oder du kaufst dir eine Lizenz für den Business Mobility OXtender.

        Bei dem Mobile Web OXtender ist aber zu beachten, dass du dort nur lesend auf deinen OX-Account zugreifen kannst. Email kannst du aber auf jedenfall via IMAP von deinem OX-Server abholen.

          ok.... 1. wo kann man sich das Teil runterladen? muss man es dann auf dem iphone istallieren?

          und 2. Was kostet dises Business Lizenz?

            dass es garnciht für die Community Version gibt...

            Das heisst, wenn ich die kostenlose community Lösung installiert habe, kann ich nicht mit meinem iphone in beide Richtungen synchronisieren?

              Hallo,

              wie schon korrekt beschrieben ist der OXtender for Business Mobility nur bei "kommerziellen" Installationen verfügbar. Diese Zusatzsoftware implementiert Microsoft ActiveSync um nativ mit den meisten Smartphones zu synchronisieren. Dieses Protokoll ist proprietär und Microsoft verlangt dafür Lizenzzahlungen, daher kann die Erweiterung nicht kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

              Da alle unsere Produkte Supportanspruch enthalten, müssen wir sicherstellen diesen auch gerecht zu werden. Bei einer selbstkompilierten oder unstable Version können wir nicht garantieren dass die Erweiterung problemlos funktioniert, daher die Beschränkung.

                aber theoretisch würde diese Business Lizenz auch auf der OX community Version laufen??

                  Ja, theoretisch würde es funktionieren. Jedoch kann man dafür keinen Support übernehmen was aber Bestandteil des Angebots ist.
