Enable SMTP with TLS?

Hi!

I want to configure OX to send email via SMTP using TLS. I've configured smtp protocol through port 587, but I can't find how to enable STARTLS command. It is not anyone else's SMTP server. It's my own.

No answers at google nor OX's forums

Any idea?

Hi,

POrt 587/tcp is SMTP over SSL which is a different thing than STARTTLS. TLS works on the default port 25 and is initiated automatically if the server announces its capability to do so. You can use SSL or TLS, they are both crypted but TLS is more recent. OX will automatically crypt SMTP/IMAP connections if the corresponding server is able to work with encrypted protocols.

I fell back to SMTP on port 25 with TLS auth which works fine.
