Still no search across folders using webmail.
Sad.
AOL email offers this and it's free.

Network Solutions nsMail Classic could...
Network Solutions nsMail Classic could search across all folders.
I assume that was the previous version of Open Exchange?
If so, why NetSol nsMail cannot?
A BIG step backwards.
I'm looking around for an alternative, but until this enhancement is made
I will be looking to move and to steer my clients away from NetSol
and anyplace else that offers OX.
BTW, us NetSol users are told constantly that problems with email boxes
are solved by them re-indexing. So, does that re-indexing just fix corrupt
structures? Or does it also include a complete context type word index?
If not, it should.
One last observation... when I click on help in NetSol nsMail OX, it says "Groupware".
Nowhere in help is OX mentioned. Confusion abounds.

Hello,
Is it planned to integrate this feature in one of the next releases?
Many users in our organization demand this functionality.
Thanks

Hi,
> email folders for example
wow. I use Thunderbird for that. Because nobody is happy to search >20GB of mail all the time.
Any external Mailclient should do that.
But: would be a nice feature to handle this by the OX-adjustments.
Have a nice day, DK

We are considering migrating from an IBM to Lotus Notes (about 1000 users) to Zimbra or Open-Xchange and this functionality is basic for us.
thanks a lot.

that sucks! i just moved my domain to hosteurope for ox and then this very important thing is missing. this is basic functionality and i have no clue why this is not even on your roadmap. i will now book a hosted exchange package because outlook web access can do this. this OX far away from being ready for work environments. what's the point of having 10GB of storage space if i can't find anything?

Hi,
right now this is not on our roadmap as far as i know. However, it might become part of a future release when we're going to improve search in general. Using connected clients like Outlook, Thunderbird or iCal is a valid solution for that. Searching many subfolders is very very expensive when doing it "live" and without a local storage.
Greetings

Hi,
thank you for this information.
Is it planned to integrate this feature in one of the next releases?
Many users work with folders, so I think it would be very useful.
As workaround I use Thunderbird which allows searching in subfolders.

Search and subfolders
Hello,
is there any switch or setting which allows that a search in open-xchange recursively uses the subfolders.
Or is there any other solution for the following problem:
There are several folders with subfolders. How can i do a search which includes the subfolders?
Regards,
