i changed the /etc/hosts and i get another error now:

Does "blabla"@gmx.de exist? Is the DNS lookup working correctly at that server?

Hi,

I seem to be having the same problem. I can receive mail to any domain hosted by the open-xchange server, except if it is _from_ any domain hosted by the open-xchange server.

For example:

mail domains hosted = example.com, example2.com

If I try to send an email from a@example.com to b@example2.com it fails.

Also if I try to send from a@example.com to b@example.com it fails.

The failure message is like this:

NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from mta01.xtra.co.nz[210.54.141.254]: 554 5.7.1 <a@example.com>: Sender address rejected: Access denied; from=<a@example.com> to=<b@example2.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<mta01.xtra.co.nz

or this:

NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from fep02.xtra.co.nz[210.54.141.244]: 554 5.7.1 <a@example.com>: Sender address rejected: Access denied; from=<a@example.com> to=<b@example.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<fep02.xtra.co.nz>

Is there a way I can test "Sender address rejected: Access denied" in the postfix configuration?

Some more information:

I know that the problem is with this line in /etc/postfix/main.cf:

smtpd_sender_restrictions = check_sender_access mysql:/etc/postfix/ox_externaldomaincheck.cf

If I comment this out and restart postfix all works fine.

I'm not sure how to test/change this but I've tried this:

# postmap -q example.co.nz mysql:/etc/postfix/ox_externaldomaincheck.cf
permit_mynetworks,permit_sasl_authenticated,reject

and I'm not sure how to read it, but it looks like it should work ... right?
