e-mail folder error

im getting this error while trying to create new e-mail folder "xyz" :

Error code : Mail folder "xyz" could not be created (may be due to insufficient permission on parental folder E-mail)

Not seen this before? Have you checked the logs on the server?

I think you are not able to create a new e-mail folder below the "E-Mail" folder. Just try to create ist under the "Inbox".
