Faulty init-script in OX 7.2.0-7 on Debian Squeeze

Hi,

I just updated my OX-Installation, and have now an error:

OpenXChange isn't starting with /etc/init.d/open-xchange start.
After trying to start, I get this output:

root@trollinger:~# /etc/init.d/open-xchange status
Checking for Open-Xchange: not running

There are no outputs in the logfiles or in the terminal.

Before the update it worked perfect.

Is there an updated init-script?

works perfectly for me... is there really no output at any log file at /var/log/open-xchange/? What version did you use before, what distro?

I had a very similar problem with open-xchange and Opensuse 12.3. See:

Try the following: As root go directly into the directory "/etc/init.d" and then start by "./open-xchange start" .

If this works and you have systemd running, you probably can use a service file the Opensuse people have provided me with to get a workaround for your problem.
