No recurring data in vcal / ical

I searched the forum but I could not find similar reports. When I tried sunbird and kontact via webdav + ical/vcal I had problems with recurring events. They were not shown at the right day but on every day between start date and end date. When I looked at the file I get via http://F.Q.D.N/servlet/webdav.ical I can not find any recurring rules.

Here is an example of a vcal dataset generated by OX for an appointment recurring every January 1st between 2000 and 2010:

This is an export from the official OX demo server !!!

I do not know the vcalendar specs that well but I think there are no recurring rules at all.

Are there any know workarounds/solutions for this problem?

with the upcoming version of OX6 (>6600) we've fixed many ical related bugs, you're very welcome to report feedback on this feature. This version of OX will be released very soon now, i just want to inform you that we take this issue serious and are eager to provide proper 3rd party calendar integration with Sunbird or other clients.
