  • openSUSE 11 and authentication-ldap rpm

    Hi,

The rpm's on the openSUSE's site have two authentication modules, one authentication-database and the authentication-ldap. Is there any information on configuring the authentication-ldap module and is a schema required for using this module.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Horst

    Hi Horst,

only one of both packages can be installed at one time, the LDAP configuration is done via the file:
    /opt/open-xchange/etc/groupware/ldapauth.properties
If you're already into LDAP the configuration should be quite trivial.

    Greetings

      Thanks Martin,

I have already LDAP logon with Samba, so I don't need a schema file for OX?. Are there Admin GUI's rpm's expected for openSUSE 11 rpm's?

      Thanks and Regards,
      Horst

        No, you need no schema.

The Community Edition has no admin interface.

        Best regards,
