Weird issue with cyradmin login

When I attempt to create a mailbox for a newly created user I get the prompt for the password but once I enter it I get a weird character a circle with an arrow on it. Almost like the singer "prince" if anyone knows it
Any ideas?

Are you probably using Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy?
if so:
the package cyrus-imapd 2.2 is broken think there is a thread how to fix that in the forum i read it already
got the same problem...

No I am using Daper Drake but possibly its the same issue? I will search the ubuntu forum for it.
