    Updating 6.6 to 6.14

    Hi,

    I'd like to know if an update from 6.6.0-6606 to 6.14.0 Rev6 is painlessly possible via dist-upgrade on debian etch.

    Are there any expected problems or pitfalls that i could run into, or would an update be straight forward?

      Updating Etch to Lenny and OX 6.6 to 6.14

      I don't think anybody actually cares, given the flood of answers to the original post. I'll tell you anyway...

      I performed a dist-upgrade from etch to lenny and updated ox6 6.6 to 6.14 afterwards. some editing in configdb and system properties was necessary, but basically that was it. The database upgrade was triggered automatically.
      The entire procedure (including etch to lenny) took less than two hours.

      Really smooth upgrade experience.
