OX context and users as single authority for mail/imap servers

I'd like to use Open-Xchange in a way that context and users created in OX are used for mail and imap servers, i.e. I want to create a context and user in OX only, and then the mail (exim or postfix) and imap servers would use these to query against.

Has anybody tried this approach successfully?
