Open-Xchange releases Open-Xchange Mobile Web App
Open-Xchange Mobile Web App offers online and offline access to your appointments, e-mails and contacts on the road. The Open-Xchange Mobile Web App provides users with a web client, to have instant access to their data, which are at the same time stored on Open-Xchange Server. Moreover, you can start a call by clicking on a phone number directly from your Open-Xchange contacts on your Smartphone. Key features of the Mobile Web App are: Contacts (Name, company, email, address, phone and fax), Appointments (Title, location, day, time and notes) and e-mails.

Availability:
The Open-Xchange Mobile Web App is part of the OXtender for Business Mobility and is available for the Open-Xchange Server Edition or Open-Xchange Hosting Edition. Open-Xchange will provide the new Open-Xchange Mobile Web App for Open-Xchange Advanced Server Edition and Server Edition for UCS later in Q2 2011.

- Mail Module: Access to all Open-Xchange standard folder: Inbox, Sent, Trash, Spam and Drafts; Creation of new e-mails; Answer, forward and delete e-mails; Mail attachments (Attachment handling/support is defined by mobile device)
- Contact Module: Access to all Open-Xchange contact folders and contacts with details; Creation of e-mail directly from contact module; Start call directly from contact module
- Calendar Module: Access to all Open-Xchange calendar folders and appointments with details; Accept/Decline of appointments; Participants and resources list from all appointments; Planned: Additional notes for Accept/Decline function, creation of new appointments
