changing user password

Hi, I would like to change the password within the ox web-interface. However, in my user configuration interface there is no option to do so. Normally this can be done by going to "Configuration"->"User"->"Password". In my account, this option is missing. All other users seem to have this option. Any ideas, of why this is the case?

could it be, that the option "--access-edit-password on" is not set for this user?
