Error after sending email to many recipients

thank you for your answer.

There is a "-" in master.cf but, the problem occure already with more then 20 recipients (+-) so i can't imagin that 20 processes are to much for our server (Quad Xenon, 4GB RAM).

But it was a good idea. I will play with this parameter and see whats happend.

Looks like a postfix failure to me. Can you limit the numbers of recipients?
50, 100, 200, 1000, more?
Please have a look at /etc/postfix/master.cf

smtp inet n - n - 600 smtpd -o ........

Is there a number like "600" oder a "-"? If this is too small, the postfix can't open enough connections.

Hi,

we use now OX6.16.3 SE and have trouble with sending email from Webfrontend.

Sending an email to many recipients takes long and finished with an error-message. I got the following error messages:
Fehlermeldung: Es trat ein Messaging-Fehler auf: Exception reading response (MSG-1023,2103711524-2200)

and another message:
Fehlermeldung: Verbindung abgelehnt oder ZeitüberschreibungH beim Versuch, eine Verbindung zum entfernten Server für Benutzer herzustellen (MSG-1016, 1882228789-74)

So it looks like the email is not send, buuut if i look at the logfile of the email-server (postfix), the email is correctly received and distributed to every recipient.

Mailing from Thunderbird or any other Email-Client seems to have no problems.

Any suggestions?

OX-Log is at level CONFIG and show's nothing releated to this errors. I didn't find anything and don't know how to resolve this problem.
