OxTender Problems since server update to 6.16

    Hallo,

we recently made an update from v6.14 to v6.16 of ox-server. Since this update we
have experienced two problems with the OxTender for Business Mobility.

The first problem is that the received-time of synchronized mails differs from the time
shown at the server by exactly 2 hours.

The second problem concerns a Nokia E52 phone, which uses the RoadSync application, since we had some problems with Nokia's MfE. If we use the 'PUSH' method for synchronization, the program does not stop synchronizing contacts, even if no changes were made to the contacts.

Are there any known solutions for this?

    Best regards,
    Alex

    hi,
any hints for this topic? The time difference happens on every our used devices (iphone, nokia e52(via roadsync), nokia e51). All timestamps in OX6 logs and in the webmail gui seems to be correct.

Are there rollout plans for a new version of business mobile oxtender? Some other, already reported bugs are nasty (e.g. no private mobile phone sync)

    best regards

Gonna check this, could it be that the handset's timezone has not been adjusted? 2 hours difference in Germany sounds like CEST vs. UTC.

        Greetings

We already checked that before. The timezone on Nokia mobiles and on an iPhone are set to the correct timezone (for austria), but the time shown in the mail client is wrong on both mobiles.

                Hi,

please contact the maintainer or supplier of the client, we cannot support 3rd party software.

                Greetings

hmm, with Rev. <6.16 timezone was fine. With 6.16 and no changes on the clients the timestamp shows eMails offset of 2 hours into future - is a client problem?
Did you implemented new features who have side effects to the clients (here Nokia E71)?

                  P.M.

                    Hi p.mueller,

with post #8 '..please contact the maintainer or supplier of the client, we cannot support 3rd party software...' Martin Braun responded to an other problem we have with the RoadSync software.

The problem concerning the timezones is a bug in version v6.16 as Martin Braun said in post #6.

                    Regards,
                    Alex

Just out of interest, is there an estimated release date for v6.18?

We typically release every 3 months, so my best guess is end of may.
