Main imap folders translation

Hi,
OX is capable of translate the default imap folders, like inbox,trash,drafts to the default
user locale?

Hi Xavier,

those IMAP folders are stored at an external storage (IMAP Server) so we don't really can map things reliable. To avoid confusion or incompatibility with other clients, we do not rename those folders. If the folders don't exist yet, they are created based on the user locale. If you create a user with french language for example, those folders will be french. But it's not possible to change their name or translation afterwards. Typically one does not forget his native language

One thing i could imaging would be mail filters - those rules require the "real" name of the folder and will break when using translated folder names. If you really need such a feature, you might contact your OX sales representative for a custom enhancement.

thanks for your answer,
we have users with different language preferences, and when create his account give a default language,and later, the user choose his preferred. In this situation the imap folders are not translated like the rest of user interface.
You know if this functionality it's on ox roadmap

Well, those IMAP folders are created on first login using the configured default language. There is not translation afterwards, i don't think it's on our roadmap. You might contact your OX representative to input some enhancement and business case for this feature.
