  • How do I activate the alternative folder navigation tree ?

According to the release notes for 6.18 it should be possible to choose an alternative folder navigation tree:

    4. Alternative Folder Navigation Tree
Open-Xchange provides with the new v.6.18 an alternative folder navigation tree for the Web Front-End. Users have the possibility to choose the new folder tree at the user settings. Under “Configuration/Options”, there is the new option “Folder tree” with the possibilities “Classic” and “New”. The new folder tree setting will take effect after a new login.

I have updated to 6.18.0 Rev7 ( 2010-08-25 14:46:41 ) but cannot find the option mentioned. I have also tried the command line interface without success:

    /opt/open-xchange/sbin/changeuser -c 1 -A xxxxxx -P xxxxxx -u xxx --foldertree 1

    What am I missing ?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

you need to install the package "open-xchange-folder-json". After that, every user can enable the new tree at the Configuration dialog, "Folder tree" option. After a relogin, the new tree is active.

    Greetings
