User can´t change theire passsword in OX web client

Hallo

our user need change theire own password in OX webclient,

If they change to settings accounts properties it´s possible to see the field
password, but it´s impossible to change the field inside.

Changing the password needs additional packages and depending on your setup additional integration.
If you manage the passwords within OX you just need to install open-xchange-passwordchange-database and enable the permissions for the user to change the password ("editpassword").

Ich denke doch das ist ein normales Feature, daß man den Kunden dies ermöglichen sollte.

Das sollte doch Standard sein bei der OX HE ?

Was OX auszeichnet, ist die Integrierbarkein in vorhandene/andere Systeme. Die OX-interne Authentifizierung über die Datenbank ist allerdings praktisch nirgends im Einsatz. D.h. in 99% der Installation ist OX nicht der Owner des Passworts, sondern irgendein anderes System. Also muss dementsprechend eine "Änderungsfunktion" auch integriert werden. Die UI dafür ist ja vorhanden und aktiviert, sobald die Integration vorhanden ist.
