Feature request: Using OX-HE without an IMAP Server

Hello,

I would like to use OX-HE as a workgroup tool in an environment where the users within a context have an emailadress but this emailadress does not have IMAP access (for various technical and/or administrative reasons).

Imagine people working at a big company that want to use their existing emailadress user@bigcompany.com but there is no IMAP access and/or the user can't give out his IMAP password because of company regulations.

There should be a way to have these users participate in an OX-HE context and receive email notifications even without having an IMAP accessible emailadress.

Asking the users to obtain another emailadress with IMAP access is not an option.

Hints and solutions are welcome.

Write a script for the existing mailsystem which triggers an appointment in the OX with title "new email from XY"

Why doesn't the user open his mailclient / the groupware he uses for mail?
